Origin of Chayanissart’s Universe
My journey began with the beauty of co-existence amidst diversity. Growing up in a family of Chinese heritage, I witnessed that even the same tradition, there are many practices and customs. I am the product of those contrasting worlds, blending into a peaceful unity.
‘Sad Bear and Sassy Cat’ are the reflections of these differing souls. Their world is a mirror of our own: dangerous yet beautiful, mystical yet understandable. Through them, I create a sanctuary where every shattered dream and every unique soul can find a place to belong.

In the different part of universe, I explored the vulnerability though my picture books projects. In 2026, I planned to do a project exploring ‘how to be resilience’. It’s a heartfelt comeback of ‘YeudYun’, an abandoned wooden robot.
